About Your Inspector
CPI Dwayne R. Madison
Home Inspector and Commercial Inspector for the Atlanta Metro Area
I’m Dwayne R. Madison, owner and operator of Southern Home and Commercial Inspection. The ethics of my company is simple: when I perform an inspection, my clients will be empowered with a better understanding of a property’s construction and its systems that will stick with them long after the inspection is complete.
For fifteen years, I worked in the automotive industry where I developed a meticulous attention to detail and an understanding of how individual components come together to create a complexsystem. Further cementing my adeptness for detail, I later worked for fourteen years in the plumbing construction industry before working very closely with home builders. From the initial excavation of a property and the pouring of a home’s foundation, to tacking on the trim, I’ve experienced it all and know what goes into the construction of a structure.

Certified Professional Inspector
As a Certified Professional Inspector by InterNACHI, my home inspections meet their excellent Standards of Practice, allowing me to provide my clients with a superior service they can trust. Southern Home and Commercial Inspection is a family business that takes pleasure in giving you peace of mind about the purchase of your new home or commercial property. From the personal reception of your call to your final walk through, I pride myself in being present to help my clients every step of the way.
Outside of my profession, I enjoy venturing outdoors on the occasional hunting trip or spending a day on the water casting a line to catch my dinner. When I’m not out enjoying nature, professional drag races provide me with immense entertainment. There’s nothing quite so exhilarating as two finely-tuned machines combining power and precision to rocket down a drag strip.
